Oral~motor exercises are specialised exercises which aim to improve the strength, control ans coordination of oral muscles( tongue,lips,vocal folds and jaw) Tongue exercise. 1 stick your tongue straight out and hold it 3 to 5 seconds 5 times 2 pull your tongue back and touch the back part of your mouth 5 times 3 move your tongue from side to side 5 times 4 move your tongue inside in circle from left to right then right to left each 5 times
Between 6 and 9 months , babies babble in syllables and start imitating tones and speech sounds. By 12 months , a baby´s first words usually appear . By 18 months to 2 years children use around 50 words and will start putting two words together into phrases or short sentences.
